Dr. Maria Santos is a seasoned Professor of Computer Science at Northern Philippines College for Maritime Science and Technology, with over 18 years of experience in academia and research. Her expertise lies in the areas of big data analytics, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. She is particularly focused on developing innovative technologies to enhance the safety and efficiency of maritime operations.

Dr. Santos earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ateneo de Manila University. Throughout her career, she has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals and conferences. Some of her significant works include:

• “Big Data Analytics for Maritime Traffic Management,” published in the Marine Technology Journal (2018).
• “Developing Robust Cyber-Physical Systems for Maritime Applications,” presented at the International Symposium on Maritime Science (2020).
